My name is Paul
and i would Just like to say hello as i am new to this forum and would like to introduce myself. sorry for the post being in english i speak spanish but i find writing it a challange in its self.i have been living and working just outside Almeria for 5 years and drive a 928 i also run a garage specialising in service/repairs/spares of all Porsche models with more than 25 years experience.

would like to hear from any other owners in the area.

(long term projects) we are currently building a 924 carrera gt replica. and in the final stages of rebuilding a rather unusual 928.

Ok, we were talking about ours Porsche in Alhama last december, I don´t know if you remember me, I´m the owner of the only red 944. I went with another friend and his 944...
Pleased to meet you, I hope to have a look to your garage as soon as posible, now I´m very busy (job, son and wife!)

murcia is only down the road from us yes would like to get together but my car is at present in the workshop for a little work but should be ready for a drive out in march when the weathers better. The area around the workshop is perfect for a ride out. long sweeping bends and hills just right for driving. how do you like the 993 so far.

 

Paul:
This is my first Porsche. I choosed the 993 because is the last air-cooled, and I have read so much about it... and I am every day more and more happy with it. For me is a Pre-classic. I don´t use it to much, but only from time to time, in weekends, etc. I think that in this way I get more pleasure when I drive it, because is so different from any other car you can usually drive. The first impression when I drove it for first time is "how easy is to drive !". I drove it the same as my Citroen C3 ! Another amazing sensation is the inmediate reactions of everything at the minimal suggestion (wheel, throtle, brakes,...). It looks like the car guess what you want to do. We could say so many things...
When your car will be repaired maybe we can plan a meeting...including anyone in the area that wants to joint us.

 

Hi Paul,

as you have already notice, there are more english speakers here than you thought. Thus, we will practice english as well as understand more from Porsche world. Anyway, it would be nice if you could post some pics of the past and current restorations you have been working on.

Hope to hear from you soon and some pics of your :[porsche] machine!
