Holla! Sorry my Spanish is extremely bad. I would need to revert to Bablefish :( But looks a great site Joaquim, Carlos et al. Carlos, are you the Carlos I used to cimmunicate with on rennlist years ago? Cheers Berny (Scouser)
Welcome BErny, I think that you really need to use Babelfish and try to Post in spanish ! Happy new year !
Hi Berny! Yes I am! its been a while, but I remember well :) How is everything going? what boards do you hang out at? how is the P-car? Hope all is well. I lost contact because I became moderator in Rennteam.com and it was too much trying to visit all the forums and slowly lost track because of lack of time :( Cheers, Carlos
Hi Berny, welcome aboard! Enjoy the site. It would be very helpful for you to take a look to the international sub-forum: http://www.soloporsche.com/forumdisplay.php?f=7 That portion of our community is not the most active, but I hope that this changes soon! I would be very grateful to you if you could do some advertising between the members of brother pages like Renntech. This forum definitely deserves more attention :[amen] Apart from that, all I can tell you is that this is a great place to share our common interest towards Porsche and all that brand represents, no matter what country you are from. Sorry too if my english is not perfect
Hi Berby!
Cool! Good to find you again. Yes still have my P-car. Now 62,000 miles and 8 RMS. But NO LEAK!!! Shhhhh....don't speak too soon ;)
Welcome Bernie. I´d lost the number of leaks of your car but I´d never thought that you are in your eight RMS. It seems amazing in only 62.000 miles. But the most incredible is that Porsche haven´t found the answer yet. Cheers, JuanMa.
Wow, you must have the record! well, lets hope the 8th one holds this time :) Is PCGB still looking the other way and avoiding their responsability?
Hi mate! Sorry to trouble you and for bringing this thread back from the dead. I need to tap into your VIN decoder expertise, if I may. I am using your decoder to find out about a 997 second hand unit I am interested in. The vast majority of the times I check the chassis number of Spanish vehicles I retrieve a 2 result (ROW) under the Field 13 (Engine Size). Funny enough, however, this particular unit retrieves a 4 instead (ROW, USA, JAPAN). What does that mean? If both 2 & 4 state Rest of World, what does the additional USA & JAPAN indicate then? The car has been sourced/manufactured in those markets? I am reassured the car in question has been purchased in Spain (even been showed the original invoice from the Official Porsche dealership) but can´t get my head around why I get a 4 rather than a 2 Can you help me please? I visit the Northwich/Crewe area quite frequently, so next time I am around, beer at the pub is on me! Thanks
Welcome!!!:welcome: Don´t worry for your Spanish, we adapt like in the works: Phone&Door Manager (recepcionista) and Security Surveillance Officer (vigilante jurado) and Manager's Ball (pelota del director). Regards:)
