Leyendo con un poco más de calma... :o

In Europe you could purchase a 968 Turbo S but not in the US. So I built my own using a RS 3.0 Factory race engine as the base to start from we converted a 1994 US spec chassis in what you have now. Using as many factory parts as we could most of the rarer 968 RS parts came from the prototype chassis we developed. So as we improved on factory parts we saved the original parts for conversion. In its original specification it had a larger K-27 turbocharger and a Bishoff Racing exhaust system but was not best for street use, it also used a Tech-Art-Roll-bar and lightweight “speedster” bucket seats and rear seat delete option. Tech-Art developed most of the aero parts used on the RS model such as the front bumper with larger air intake for inter-cooler, front splitter, inter-cooler air exit in hood, naca duct intakes in hood, and hood spoiler at the rear of the hood and adjustable rear wing, the only thing we didn’t copy from the RS was the Hydro-Boost brake system which was similar to the Turbo 3.6, for the clone we used standard vacuum boosted master cylinder, calipers were turbo 3.6/965 units. The DME and KLR units are 968 RS specific units from the prototype chassis but allowed for manual boost control (located in the right side of the glove box). This may be the only 968 Turbo clone built using as many factory racing parts and correct 3.0 8v Motorsport engine. Most conversions were done on the 3.0 16v US spec engines using aftermarket EFI systems.

    - 0-60: 3.6 Mucho acelera, no?
    - Las branquias de la última foto.

    Gracias por compartir, saludos,
    JAVI

    hola.
