Maybe you should contact a scrapyard and get a used gearbox (and guaranteed though) instead of going for a rebuild, that is costly because it needs a lot of hours of workmanship. Fitting another box is a much quicker option. The same goes for the diff. Dont forget to watch the clutch because as the engine and gearbox has to be removed form the car for the gearbox swap, changing this item is almost straight forward and you´ll just have the price of the part to increase the quote. This will need to be done by a Porsche specialist workshop... a Porsche Centre will never accept to do it for you. Maybe you should contact Ricardo Barber, from RBM. Trustfull and speaks english.
